Two multimillionaire friends met for lunch and started chatting.
“So, how’s life at home?” asked the first multimillionaire.
“Couldn’t be better,” replied the second. “I bought an elephant!”
“An elephant? Are you out of your mind?”
“Not at all! Best purchase ever. He trims the lawn perfectly, the kids love playing with him, and he even helps my wife move heavy furniture. Honestly, I don’t know how we ever lived without him.”
The first multimillionaire thought for a moment. “That actually sounds amazing. How much did you pay?”
“Five hundred thousand dollars. Absolute bargain!”
“Sell him to me for a million?”
“No way! He’s part of the family now!”
“Two million?”
“I really shouldn’t…”
“Three million?”
“Fine. But only because we’re friends.”
A few months later, they met again.
The first multimillionaire was furious.
“That elephant ruined my life! He destroyed my garden, terrified my kids, and my wife is threatening to leave me if I don’t get rid of him. It’s the worst deal I’ve ever made!”
The second multimillionaire shrugged and said, “Well, with that attitude, you’ll never sell him.”
