When it comes to our children, we all like to think that they are the most beautiful things that have ever existed on earth.
Of course, we tend to be a little biased because we’re… well, you know, parents. We love and value them above all else, so it’s only reasonable that we view them through rose-tinted glasses.
No one can deny that one five-year-old from Nigeria is without striking looks, however, with many dubbing her the “most beautiful in the world.”
When photographer Mofe Bamuyiwai posted photos of young Jare Ijalana on social media, she could never have predicted the reaction. The photos quickly went viral and people mostly commented on Jare’s natural beauty.
All three posts have thus far accumulated more than 70,000 likes on Instagram, and it’s not all that difficult to see why.
Bamuyiwa captioned one of the photos: “I want to portray the interception between her childhood and adulthood so both stay timeless! I could have made her smile and make her laugh out loud but I put her in their natural moments for us to see through their eyes! Jare is not a professional model,” Bamuyiwai told Yahoo Lifestyle.
“All I want is for everyone to see Jare’s great potential… I want the photo to speak to her when she has reached her adulthood.”
In any case, it seems that the photogenic trait runs in the family. Jare’s older sisters, Jobi, 7, and Joba, 10, have also been photographed by Mofe, and they’re all equally as memorable.
“Asides [sic] that [Jomi] is bright and beautiful, she is very coordinated and every pose directed, she did better than I told her to do. She has buttressed and given me more proof that every little girl dreams of being a woman,” Bamuyiwai wrote in the picture’s Instagram caption.
All children are beautiful in their way, and all deserve to be told so. That said, it certainly looks like Jare has a bright future ahead of her when it comes to being photographed.
Would you let your child be a model?
